Barry M High-Shine Gelly Nail Paint - Grapefruit 301

Barry M High-Shine Gelly Nail Paint - Grapefruit 301 £3.99

When I bought this shade yesterday I thought it was more of a bright light pink shade, but on application it applied as an almost neon, pink with orange undertones.  It's a gorgeous shade, especially for the summer I can see myself wearing this one on the beach. This shade is really similar to Chanels 571 Fracas polish, from their Printempts De Chanel Spring 2013 collection and at nearly a quarter of the price it's a great dupe.

It applies well (I apologise for my messy picture, I was rather sleepy when I applied this polish), and has the same thick creamy consistency as the other Gelly nail polishes that I've tried which have all been long lasting on my brittle nails.

I'm not using a top coat with this polish, as I've found that when I use a top coat as well as a base and two coats of the Gelly polishes that they tend to take a long time to dry, and I end up smudging them as I'm too impatient.  Although, these polishes are so long wearing anyway that I don't think a top coat makes much of a difference, plus they already have a super shiny finish to them!

You can get this shade from Boots for just £3.99.

Princess points: 4/5
I love all the polishes in Barry M's Gelly range, however I'm not giving this one a 5 due to it applying as a different colour to in the bottle.
