Clinique Superbalanced Makeup Foundation Review

Clinique Superbalanced Makeup Foundation Review
Clinique Superbalanced Foundation  £21.50
Cliniques Superbalanced foundation has been my staple foundation for just over 18 months.
I first purchased this on a cruise ship 2 summers ago as it was on offer for about £12, I'm now on my third bottle and am completely addicted to the stuff!  It mattifys my skin and leaves it looking flawless, whilst the colours match my skin perfectly.

I use shade 03 Ivory during the winter and 04 Cream Chamois in the summer.  I find that I get a medium amount of coverage from this foundation which is enough for me, especially now that I wear it over Diors Nude BB Cream.  It wears for a full day without fading and even stays on during a workout!  I apply this with my MAC foundation brush, but when I'm in a rush I just use my fingers and apply using a blotting, tapping motion and then gently blend over my skin.  I do this as opposed to rubbing it in so that the product stays on the surface of my skin rather than sinking in.  It applies really smoothly, blends evenly and doesn't transfer on to clothes much.

Wearing only Clinique Superbalanced Foundation - No primer or BB cream.
Before I discovered Cliniques Superbalanced foundation I used to use Maybellines Dream Matte Mouse and would get really oily skin on my nose and forehead.  I no longer get this as Cliniques formula does as it says and prevents oily patches occurring on my skin.  I would say that I have combination skin as my cheeks are prone to dryness and yet they never go flaky with this foundation.

So far each bottle has lasted me around 8 months so I don't think it's that expensive as other foundations that I've used have only lasted up to 2 months.  It works out at about £30 per year.  As I said earlier in this review, I use this over Diors Nude BB cream and then I use Cliniques Anti Blemish Concealer if needed, followed by Cliniques Loose Blended Face Powder.

Princess points: 5/5
This is my one must have foundation, its long lasting, reduces oiliness and blends in evenly with my skin, giving it an almost airbrushed finish.
