MAC Lustre Making Pretty Lipstick Review - 3N

MAC Lustre Making Pretty Lipstick - 3N
I'm not gunna lie, I pretty much bought this soley because I fell in love with the packaging!
It's so pretty (hence the name) I love pinks and golds so when I saw this pink faux leather effect and rose gold packaing I just HAD to get it.  Unfortunately this collection has nearly sold out in the UK, I got this from Selfridges yesterday and the guy who served me said that they only had 15 units left.

The shade of 3N is a sort of milky light pink nude.  Its texture is creamy and soft, but due to how light the shade is it does make my lips look really cracked.  I wore it on top of my MAC Tinted Lip Conditioner which did help slightly as well as exfoliating my lips prior to use.  But the cracks were still visible and having lip balm underneath did hinder the shade showing up as light on my lips.  It is well pigmented and without anything underneath did go almost opaque on my lips.  It wasn't moisturising though and lasted around 2 hours, which I didn't think was bad for such a light and creamy shade.

I think I paid £20.50 for this in Selfridges, although this shade is no longer available on their website it may still be at MAC counters.

Princess points: 3/5
I love the packaging and the shade, but the texture mixed with the lightness of this lipstick made it difficult to wear as it highlighted my chapped lips.  This would be a stunning shade for anyone with really well conditioned lips which sadly isn't me.
