Nars Ita Kabuki Contouring Brush Review

Nars Ita Kabuki Contouring Brush £28.50
The Ita Kabuki Contouring brush is my first Make Up Brush from Nars, I've wanted it for over a year but just never got round to buying it.
It comes in a flip open box with a little window in it, I much prefer this to how MAC package their brushes as it gives the product a much more luxurious feel.  This is a wide, flat goats hair brush which is great for creating sharp contour angles.  It can also be used for applying highlighter to the cheekbones.  The great thing about this brush is that you can use it to apply product in a straight line and then blend it out with a larger round brush if you want to create a more natural, less well defined look.

I found this brush difficult to get used to as on my fair skin it can be pretty disastrous if I apply too much bronzer or blusher.  But after using it for about a week or so I got used to using a small amount of product on the brush and then building pigmentation up in layers, to prevent that dreaded line of unblended make up from sitting underneath my cheekbones.

It gave me a much more structured look than using MACs 168 contouring brush, although it was more time consuming using the Nars brush.  If your willing to take the time to get used to the brush I would definitely recommend it.  It seems to be a good quality brush and I haven't experienced any shedding of its bristles.

I used Nars Ita Kabuki Contouring Brush to apply my blusher under my cheekbones.
You can get this from Nars online for £28.50.

Princess points: 4/5
Its a lovely brush, which gives really structured results but can be tricky to start with, and takes some time to get used to.
