|Maybelline The Falsies Mascara £7.99|
The Falsies is a volumising mascara which claims to boost the visible volume of your lashes by 300%. I have it in Brun Glamour which is a mid brown shade, it's not as dark as YSL's Volume Effects in Brown, but it dries slightly darker than how it looks on the wand.. I love volumised lashes, but hate wearing false lashes in the day. This mascara really does add extreme volume, plumping up my lashes in just 2 coats.

The applicator wand is very unusual, it's Maybelline's patented curved spoon brush which is narrow on one side and wide on the other. I found it really easy to use when applying the mascara to my top lashes. Especially as it has a flexible bendy brush which allows the lashes to be separated easily, rather than clumping together. However, I did find it a bit tricky to apply it to my bottom lashes, and application was a bit messy due to the shape of the brush.
I didn't find that this mascara smudged much, although it did flake a tiny bit towards the end of the day. After 2 thick coats it's prone to clumping slightly, but as long as you apply the second coat when the first is still damp, it's not too bad. Removal is pretty easy, it comes straight off with warm water or with any eye make up remover. The packaging is nice and bold, so it's easy to find in your make up bag.
